seeks to be the lead investor in companies that have:

In keeping with our
investment philosophy, we look for companies offering products and
services that advance the effective intersection of healthcare
economics--where cost savings and enhanced quality of medical outcomes
combine in a system that aligns the incentives of patients, payers and
providers.
Investment Stage: Psilos invests in companies that have
demonstrated some fundamental proof of concept, market demand and/or
adoption of their product and have evolved beyond early-stage
technological, clinical and regulatory risks. Typically, these tend
to be Series B-stage funding or later rounds. We are looking for
companies that will demonstrate substantial value creation within 18
months of our investment, as follows:

For healthcare services companies, we
seek companies that are likely to achieve positive cash flow within 18
months of our investment; |

For healthcare services companies, we
seek opportunities where the product has a few early users and where
full commercial release of the product will occur with 18 months. |

For device and specialty pharmaceutical
and drug delivery companies, we seek opportunities where there is at
least some data evidencing safety and/or efficacy in humans and where
FDA approval is likely within 18 months. |

Investment Size: Psilos typically
invests between $2-$6 million initially into companies, with an
expectation of investing up to $8-$15 million over the life of an
investment.
Investment Geography: Across the United States. We do not invest in
foreign-domiciled corporations.
